Robert Klein, Chief Commercial Officer of Bundesliga International GmbH responsible for the internationalization of the Bundesliga brand, will be addressing the vision of Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) during a keynote speech in Düsseldorf, Germany in January. The talk on “Football as It’s Meant to Be” will take place on January 30 as part of the SpoBis Summit, Europe’s largest sports business summit. From 9:30 to 9:50, Klein will explain how innovation and international growth can be successfully combined with DFL’s claim to keep the game authentic and close to its humble roots.
In addition, Dr. Hendrik Weber, CEO of Sportec Solutions will hold a 20-minute keynote at the SpoBis on January 31 (10:40 to 11:00). His speech will deliver insights on how the DFL is building up in-house competencies on match data and sports technologies. Spearheading the technology and innovation department at DFL, Weber will explain the necessity and ambition for creating Sportec Solutions in September 2016. Based in Cologne, Sportec Solutions is a joint venture between the DFL Group and data experts, deltatre.
