‘SportsInnovation was one of the highlights of our 2018 event season, and we’re excited to be taking part in it again next year,’ said Giampiero Rinaudo, CEO and co-founder of Deltatre.
Deltatre is the global leader in reliable and innovative solutions for sports federations, leagues and media companies. It offers OTT and streaming video products and services, digital and social media applications, content production and data and broadcast services.
Rinaudo added: ‘The DFL’s ability to bring together some of the greatest companies working in the sports broadcast space is second to none. It combines this with the capability to put on an event displaying the perfect blend of high-quality thought leadership, innovative product demonstrations and best-in-class entertainment, making our partnership in 2020 a no-brainer. We demonstrated Deltatre products in action to event delegates last year in an impactful showcase of the technology that we have deployed over our history of more than thirty years. In 2018 we focused our efforts at SportsInnovation on three main themes: VAR technology, innovative broadcast production from the pitch and in the stadium, as well as digital and direct broadcast production to consumers for fans. Having real football games played at the stadium during the event was a plus that allowed us to showcase a real “proof of concept” to attendees, and having many industry partners and suppliers in also at the stadium created a very engaging scenario for us. We also presented our unique approach in supporting football federations service their media rights licensees through what we call Digital Host Services, a digital layer built around traditional Host Broadcasting. We also showcased how our joint venture with the DFL, Sportec Solutions, is helping Bundesliga excel in Europe among other leagues in terms of football data accuracy and quality. We look forward to repeating the exercise next year in Düsseldorf and can’t wait to see and share what the future of sport and technology holds for all of us.’
